Sugar Spice Fashion is Nice

Sweet Cheeks
Nothing says spring like delicious cotton candy styled
garments, last season Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton made sure we were pursing our lips in
sugary delight with his delectable collection. Not only did the delightful carousel
ponies and giddy designs fascinate even the hardest of hearts but it also
melted everyone’s soul into a pool of sticky, gooey admiration. Ralph Lauren
also created tasteful decadence with his 1920’s inspired collection. Brining the ‘Great Gatsby’ back to out hearts and added a 2012 spin to the fluffy
vibrant creations. The best part of these collections is that nothing was too
over done. Each piece carried texture, elegance and best of all; innocence,
something designers tend to drift away from. It’s great to swim back to memories
of playground fiasco’s and lunchtime conundrums. Perfect bows on Jason Wu gowns
and silky baby blue frocks in Giorgio Armani helped establish sentimental
thoughts in our hectic minds. Femininity and demure was the importance of spring
2012. Designers expressed their love for frivolous pastels, cotton candy
colored gowns and everything in between. Sweet, precise, and everything nice.
