Sass&Bide

I have personally never heard of this collection, I stumbled upon it while visiting the London Fashion Week website and thought it best to do some research.

Founded by Heidi Middelton & Sarah-Jane Clarke in 1999, these two Autralians sought out to bring vintage and new age together. In 2001 they released a collection during Mercedes Australian Fashion Week. By 2002 they showed another collection during London Fashion Week and 2003 released in America at New York Fashion Week, now showing for 8 consecutive years. From a small gathering in Austraila, Clarke (Sass) and Middelton (Bide) opened a small boutique and now (2012) both designers continue to colaborate, creating luxury vintageesque collections year after year for some of fashion most renowned.

Spring Summer 2013 was titled 'LoveShady.' Designers Heidi and Sarah-Jane created garments fit for a princess, each piece remarkably tailored. The color scheme for ss13 is effervescent and exciting. The ladies designed pieces for an evening on the town and lovely jackets for a crisp afternoon on the porch. Orange pants and brightly coloured jackets, white dresses and feathered skirt, LBD's (little black dress') that will have men drooling, a perfect mix of volume, subtly, and cheekiness. The collection as a whole carried body; each piece holding it's own personality A perfect mix. A well rounded collection for a well rounded woman.
