From his hometown in Lebanon to designing for royalty, Elie Saab has done it all. Elie fell hopelessly in love with fashion at a vibrant young age, creating jaw-dropping gowns in his crib, by 18 he launched his own label in Beirut. By 1997, Saab was entered into the Camera Nazionale della Moda and by mid-1997, he showcased his first collection in Rome. In 1998, he did a ready-to-wear line in Monaco and had Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, giddy, in the front row.

After his show in Monaco, celebrities and royalty alike were banging down the door in hopes of acquiring one of Saabs creations. Actress Hally Berry wore a Saab piece when she won an Academy Award in 2002. His clientele reaches from Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion, Kristen Stewart, Jessica Biel, the list is endless. Even the Royal family is getting a healthy dose, The Grand Duchess Marie Teresa of Luxembourg, Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden and Queen Rania of Jordan.

In May 2003, the Chamber Syndicale de la Haute Couture asked Saab to be a member, and later in that year, he put his first Haute Couture line down the runway. In 2006, he put his spring/summer ready-to-wear line down the runway, for the first time, after that he made Paris a home base for his prete-a-port line.

Instead of playing with a rattle, Elie was dressing dolls in chiffon and lace, his youthful imagination took him far. With the world singing, it's praised, Saab continues to design from the heart. With stores around the world, you can find his creations on some of the most famous names in Hollywood as well as the world's Royalty. There's no direction but up, for fashion designer, Elie Saab.
