In April 2009 Scarlett Johanssen became the face of their make-up label. Being a trend setter, not a trend follower, D&G was voted UK's best luxury brand in July 2009.

Inspired by Italy's prestigious film history as well as thrift store Bohemian, they claim to create fashion that's trendy, easy to wear, and flattering garments.
"When we design it's like a movie, we think of a story as we design the clothes to go with it." -Domenico.
D&G's trademark is underwear as outerwear, gangster boss pin strip suits and extravagant print coats, for men. Meanwhile, the men are flamboyant and dominant, the women are being photographed in black and white for ad campaigns by Ferdinando Scianna and made to look quite simply, sexy.
"They find their way out of any black dress, any buttoned-up blouse. They fries piece of theirs I wore was a white shirt, very chesty, but cut to make my breasts look as if they were busting out."- Rossellini.
