Louis Vuitton Mallerker, or LV for short, is a french fashion house founded in 1854 by Louis. The label carries everything from leather trunks, sunglasses, shoes, watches, jewelry, books accessories. Establishing his elegant store on Rue de Capuchin in Paris he introduced his flat-bottom trunks with Trianon canvas, lightweight and appealing to the eye. In 1867 Louis Vuitton campaigned to protect against the duplicates that were being created, they then changed their design to a beige and brown stripe design in 1876. By 1885 the company opened its first store in London on Oxford st. By 1888 the company had perfected its logo created by Louis Vuitton  that reads "Marque L.Vuitton depose."
Louis son inherited the business after his father dies in 1892. After his Fathers death, the company began to build internationally. the company's graphic symbols include quarterfoils and flowers as well as the LV monogram, soon becoming a Japanese oriental design in the late Victorian era. 1901 the bag traveled to the United States touring with the "Steamer Bag" a smaller piece designed to be kept inside travel luggage. 1913 Louis Vuitton had established himself in the largest travel-goods  store in the worlds, Champs-Elysee's. Stores began opening the worldwide, New York, Bombay, Washington, and London. Soon the "Speedy Bag" was introduced, as well as the "Noe Bag," made to transport champagne bottles. Gaston Louis Vuitton assumed the role of the company in 1936 after George Vuitton died.

During World War II, Louis Vuitton collaborated with the Nazi during the German occupation of France. Members of the Vuitton family actively aided the puppet government and increased their wealth from their business affairs with German.s Louis Vuitton later expanded their brand to Asia, opening stored in Taipei, 1983 in Seoul and in the following years the EPI like was introduced.

In  2004, Louis Vuitton celebrated its 150th anniversary. In 2008 the company released Damier Graphite Canvas, an urban feel as well as a many feels, the canvas features the classic damier pattern but in black and grey. 2010 granted Louis Vuitton permission to opened a luxury store in London. Louis Vuitton has a celebrity following, not only are they exposed in songs but in the media as well, Kanye West is a huge spokesperson for the label, putting the Louis Vuitton symbol in many of his songs, as well as Juicy J. Celebrity attention by actors such as Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez, and Hayden Christensen is in many marketing campaign  LV is the most sought after brand, bringing in a revenue of 24.3billion dollars USD, still only being the 29th most valuable brand. 18% of the world's counterfeit brands name is Louis Vuitton the monogram canvas was created to prevent the brand from being counterfeited.
This fall/winter Louis Vuitton did everything from clutched to large wold bags, box bags, skinny clutches, even hand warmers. Classic leather, brown and beige is very common looks for Louis.
